SL Flight Training | Salpauslento is one of the oldest aviation academies in Finland, already in its third generation. Strong traditions and extensive know-how combined with modern thinking create a high-level and practical learning result. We have trained hundreds of professional pilots for the needs of transport and general aviation since 1970.
The pilots we train work in Finland and abroad, e.g. employed by Finnair, Norwegian, Qatar Airways and Norra, as well as helicopter pilots, e.g. employed by Helsinki Citycopter, FinnHEMS and Heliwest. We train professional and private pilots at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport and at our office in Tampere at Pirkkala Airport.
Our operations are supervised by the aviation authority (Traficom) and our training programs comply with the EASA regulations of the European Union Aviation Safety Agency. We train pilots in accordance with our license FI.ATO.2001.

The application is open until 27 October 2024. The selection steps are carried out
in November-December 2024 and the first course begins
